The leather is pull-up leather, a type of leather treated with oils and waxes after tanning, giving it a unique, rustic appearance. It gets its name from the way the surface lightens and takes on a worn-in patina when stretched or bent, as the oils and waxes are "pulled up" to the surface. Known for its softness, durability, and ability to age beautifully, it’s a material made to last and only get better with time.

Leather: Clean with a damp soft cloth. For dry and cracked leather use a natural, good quality leather oil or wax to make it last longer and to give it a new shine.
Wool: Hang out to air it, wool has a special power to clean itself. For stains, handwash with a wool detergent or schampoo. All natural wool has piles/fluff, often the piles can be removed by hand, you can also use a wool comb.
